My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching and prevention. Drawing on my expertise, I work with my clients to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness.

What will it be like to work with me?

We will laugh, maybe even cry a bit. We’ll talk about you, your life, your diet, your successes and your stumbling blocks. You will have unwavering support and mentorship as you work to create a life that you wish for yourself, and work towards fulfilling your goals.

It’s a journey we’ll be on together.

How will we address your goals?

Together, we will explore ways in which you can make small, manageable changes in your day to day life to help you achieve a healthier diet and lifestyle. We will use many tools to achieve this such as the Circle of Life, dietary fix-ups, exercise check ins, and a meaningful look into your potential stressors.

Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life such as love and relationships as well as career and money. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.

"Karen helped us conquer my 11-year-old son's SIBO using a combination of the low FODMAP and GAPS diet. Without her knowledge, experience and guidance I would not have been able to navigate the SIBO treatment. Karen's kind and supportive personality made working with her a pleasure. The treatment plan was clear and straightforward. The food information and recipes she provided me with were exactly what I needed to be able to make such a big dietary change in my son's life."

Nutrition Coaching for Specific Conditions

I have a passion for working with people on their gut and dietary health. I have SIBO and an autoimmune disease in remission myself and have been on my own healing journey for many years. Because of this direct experience, I am uniquely suited to support clients who are treating SIBO, IBS, intestinal dysbiosis, as well as autoimmune disfunction. I am also passionate about working with clients who are wanting to lose weight and feel good in their body, and those who may struggle with disordered eating.

Why should I consider working with a health coach?

Our food system and our lifestyles are evolving faster than our cells can keep up. The rates of health decline are sky rocketing, with huge increases in obesity, cancer, autoimmune disease and diabetes. Our next generation may in fact, have a shorter average life span than ours. This is alarming, and you don't need to navigate it alone. Most of what ails our society can be alleviated. A health coach can support you in that journey.

A few reasons why a health coach might be right for you:

  1. You just feel "off" and haven't had much success in reversing that trend on your own.
  2. You are more likely to accomplish goals when you have guidance and accountability.
  3. You have been given a treatment plan by a medical professional and it feels overwhelming to get started.
  4. You're tired of trying to lose weight with little success. In fact, trying to lose weight just gets exhausting.
  5. You're looking for a personalized approach to health, with customized support for your unique needs.

Take your health, and that of those around you, to the next level. Connect with me and I will show you how.
